Minecraft Bot Client (abbreviated as MBC)
Minecraft Bot Client (MBC) Project Overview
Minecraft Bot Client (MBC) is a lightweight, protocol-only bot client developed specifically for Minecraft. Written entirely in Python, the project eliminates the need for the official game launcher, the full Java-based game client, and massive game asset packages. By simulating and transmitting native network protocol packets directly to the server, it allows users to control in-game actions with a high degree of freedom via a lightweight, interactive console.
MBC offers excellent compatibility and portability, with a file size of only about 10 MB. It runs natively across Windows, macOS, and Linux without requiring a local Python environment or a full Minecraft game installation. It features adaptive protocol support, capable of automatically identifying and bridging server protocols ranging from version 1.8 to 26.2. Currently, the tool is designed primarily for offline-mode (i.e., cracked or self-hosted) servers, making it ideal for server stress testing or specific "AFK" (away-from-keyboard) scenarios.
Although it lacks a graphical rendering interface, MBC excels in automation and cluster control. Its built-in Multi-bot mode allows users to deploy 20, 100, or even more bots simultaneously by simply editing a local JSON configuration file. MBC provides comprehensive automated solutions to bypass common anti-AFK and login-plugin restrictions:
- Intelligent Authentication Cluster: Automatically handles authentication for plugins like AuthMe by sending
/registeror/logincommands in batches as bots join the server. - Group Broadcast System: Use the
.saycommand to issue a single instruction that triggers a broadcast across all connected bots. - Advanced Anti-Detection AFK: Features built-in simulated head movements and arm-swinging actions based on Bézier curves, incorporating randomized delays to perfectly mimic the mouse movement patterns of a human player. * Survival Automation & Support: Features automatic food consumption (eating meat) when health is low, as well as autonomous navigation—supporting both custom waypoints and random roaming—with an automatic stop function triggered upon taking damage or death.
- Environmental Awareness & Alerts: Includes detection of nearby players and alerts (via local console logs) regarding obstacles ahead or missing blocks.
As a fully open-source, standalone project with a bilingual (Chinese/English) user interface, MBC offers a robust automation tool for geeks, server administrators, and tech enthusiasts—all without placing a significant burden on your GPU or system memory. Whether you are testing a server’s capacity under high concurrent load or automating tedious, repetitive in-game tasks, MBC delivers reliable results.
